pcAnywhere v10.5 will be fully compatible with Windows XP.
Host Security Assessment Tool
Test your pcAnywhere host configuration to see if there are other security features in pcAnywhere that you should be taking advantage of.
"Rebootless" Host
The pcAnywhere Packager can now create a smaller host package that does not require a reboot upon installation to provide basic remote control functionality.
Logging Enhancements
With the latest additions to logging, failed attempts to connect to pcAnywhere due to incorrect serial number or unauthorized TCP/IP address will be captured. This will include the TCP/IP address of
the person who is trying to connect and the time of the attempt.
Status Icon
pcAnywhere v10.5 adds new information in the System Tray to give status on who is connected to your computer. Information includes Computer name and length of connection.
